United Playground is dedicated to helping people realise their ambition of volunteering in Africa and India. We work with our international representatives to offer volunteers the support and point of contact they need to feel safe and secure while on a range of volunteering placements in Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa and South India.

United Playground also operates on the belief that volunteering trips should be affordable, as the people who go on them are giving their own time over to the relevant project for free. When you volunteer with United Playground, you will be developing and learning new skills, experiencing new cultures and helping the local people realise their potential. 

But what makes us different from all of the other organisations?

The difference between us and other organisations that recruit volunteers is that we are affordable. Why should volunteers pay a fortune when they are giving their time and commitment for free? Many of our schools have never received volunteers, so we are looking for independent and outgoing individuals, who would be prepared to take lead in a classroom when required, play football with 20 or so teenagers and generally get in there and have fun!
