Internships
United Playground offers internships in various disciplines and in many locations. We work closely with you to identify how to meet the requirements of your program of study.
You will have a dedicated staff mentor and receive training and tuition on site, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. At the end of your internship you will have a one to one evaluation meeting and receive a certificate and summary of training and experience.
During your first couple of weeks you will observe, help with minor tasks, and work with staff on site while gaining more knowledge about the program and the work you are involved in. After the observation period and once you are ready, you will begin the voluntary work more fully.
Internships can be undertaken by individuals or groups. The programs are specifically designed to include students, gap year travellers, and other workers. This flexibility allows us to tailor the program to suit you while giving the workplace the additional resources they so much need.
As an intern, as well as learning a great deal and having a fantastic experience, you will provide a lot of benefit to the organisation you are posted with and the local community that you are living and working within.
